I have been working with the LGBT community and in the field of transgender psychology for 14 years. During that time, I have provided trainings and consultations for therapists and interns at Seattle Counseling Service (SCS), along with other agencies in the greater Seattle area. I have also presented at various conferences and wrote articles for the King County Crisis Clinic and SCS.
In 2004, I appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show as a gender specialist on a segment about Transgender children. As a certified Sexual Minority specialist, I continue to provide consultations to other mental health providers and agencies. I am also available for presentations on different aspects of the transgender and gender variant experience, which I continue to do as this field grows and expands exponentially.
